Shotgun Sammy, the legendary

shooter hero at long last had finished

his quest of firearm-related heroics.

Having tired of the constant violence,

he decided to take up a different 

role.

And so, our once-shooter hero 

became the now-sorta-shooter chef.

Armed with nothing but his shotgun, 

he fills an unfamiliar role.

How To Play:

Left Click - Shoot, Select

Right Click - Cycle Through Loaded Ingredients

Flick mouse to left of screen to switch to the pantry while playing the game.

The goal is to make as much money per day by completing orders using your shotgun to shoot ingredients.

The faster you complete orders, the more money you'll recieve.

You need to make enough money by the end of the shift or you'll lose.

Every few days you'll earn contracts which can change the playstyle of the game.

Made for the 2023 GMTK Game Jam,

The theme was roles reversed, so I tried to put a character/mechanic from one genre of games into another. It's a loose take on the theme, but I'm happy with the end result.

Of 6,842 Games, this game placed #93 at the end of the jam!

Post-Jam Update Changes (v1.0.1)

- Changed several of the ingredient sprites and icons to make them more distinct and preserve clarity.

- Tweaked the difficulty scaling, making it so that the game starts off much easier, but the difficulty rises pretty quickly.

-Increased the amount of money you gain from incorrect orders when using the 'Buffet Bureau' contract.

- Slightly increased base shift length.
